The first assessment meeting is conducted by a registered physiotherapist. Subsequent treatment appointments are conducted by students in the Techniques de physiothérapie, under the supervision of clinical-physiotherapists, members of the Ordre des professionnels de la physiothérapie du Québec (OPPQ).

The Clinique de physiothérapie of the Cégep de Sherbrooke is a professional clinic that also has a school clinic component, which is a place of internship for students from the Techniques de physiothérapie. The school clinic allows you to receive, during the school period, quality services and treatments offered at very advantageous costs.
The assessment and treatment plan are carried out by a professional and the treatments are applied by a student supervised by a physiotherapist teacher. The target clientele is any adult with musculoskeletal problems, without the need for a medical prescription.
How can you get physiotherapy services from the school clinic? Simply mention it when you make an appointment at the clinic!
Initial assessments are done by the Clinic’s physiotherapists at a regular rate ($95) or at a reduced rate for students from the Cégep de Sherbrooke ($75) The treatments are done by the students in Techniques de physiothérapie, at the rate of $20 per session ($10 for Cégep de Sherbrooke students). Receipts are issued for insurance purposes.
The school clinic offers its services during the school period (mid-August to mid-December and mid-January to mid-May).
The Clinique de physiothérapie is located at the Centre d’activité physique du Cégep de Sherbrooke, 355, rue du Cégep, Pavillon 1, 1st floor. Parking is free for the school-clinic’s clientele.
You must call 819 566-7192, and ask specifically for the school clinic’s services if you wish to obtain services at a reduced rate. The clinic also offers professional services at regular rates.

At least 48 hours notice is required if you wish to cancel or reschedule an appointment. A $20 administration fee will be charged for each unexcused absence less than 24 hours before an appointment.
