The Coop CURE’s team of occupational therapists can help you solve, prevent or minimize the difficulties you experience in your daily life (work environment, leisure activities, managing your schedule, chronic pain, etc.). And all at a reduced price.

What is the Coop CURE?

The Clinique universitaire de réadaptation de l’Estrie (CURE) is a unique cooperative rehabilitation clinic. Its mission is to provide physiotherapy and occupational therapy services, primarily to people of all ages who do not have access to these services and who are socioeconomically vulnerable.

The clinic participates in the evolution of the skills and knowledge of students and clinicians by adopting innovative and exemplary approaches.

Occupational therapy services for adults

Socio-vocational rehabilitation

  • Support in returning to work and/or resuming work for individuals living with psychological health problems (depression, adjustment disorder, anxiety, etc.) or physical health problems
  • Prevention and promotion of health at work (education, evaluation of workstations in the workplace or at home)
  • Hand therapy (orthoses)
  • Support in the search for energy, pain and emotional management strategies
  • Management of chronic physical illnesses and disability situations
  • Support in life transitions (e.g. retirement, parenthood, post-secondary education)
  • Customized training and conferences for organizations or companies

Pediatric occupational therapy services are also available for children.

Cost

Services are offered at reduced rates to uninsured clients. Membership in the cooperative is required to access services. Preferential rates are offered to the student community of the Université de Sherbrooke. Insured persons are eligible for treatment at the CURE, but at costs equivalent to other private clinics in the region.

Conditions

Occupational therapy services are offered primarily to uninsured clients who have access to reduced rates by becoming members of the cooperative. Insured persons are also eligible to be followed at the CURE, at costs similar to other private clinics in the region.
