Every Child Matters Walk

Join us on Monday, September 30th from 12:30 PM to 3:00 p.m. for the Every Child Matters Walk, starting at Kwigw8mna (Bishop’s University) and ending at Coulter Field via Lennoxville. This walk is a moment to commemorate and honour residential school survivors and to raise awareness of the ongoing legacy of these institutions. Held on Orange Shirt Day, it is a powerful opportunity to stand in solidarity and reflect on the importance of truth and reconciliation.

The meeting point is at 12:30 p.m. at Bishop’s University, in front of Kwigw8mna Hall (see campus map, building C1). This walk is open to the general public.

Reference directory

The Pôle régional en enseignement supérieur de l’Estrie (PRESE) offers a reference directory for the general public and anyone involved in education, from primary school to university. This directory provides access to thousands of educational tools that enhance knowledge about the issues faced by First Nations, Inuit and Métis communities.
